Could you briefly introduce your company?
MDWind is a green energy industry service provider that covers all kinds of services in the wind industry, from installation to dismantling, including blade inspection, maintenance, MCR, and more.
Do you think the company’s mission, vision, and growth plan reflect your values and aspirations?
The company’s vision of growth and entrepreneurship aligns with my personal vision, as I have a business mindset. I see myself contributing to the company’s growth in terms of turnover, optimization, and the number of employees in the coming years. As a wind energy service provider, we aim to provide better solutions to the climate crisis and are working towards that every day.
Can you describe your role in a few words?
I was initially hired as the head of the new Repowering Department, but in the meantime, following the company management decision to consolidate and improve our internal structure, I have taken charge of four departments: the Maintenance, Blades, MCR, and Repowering departments. I will be in charge of consolidating their operations and services and ensuring that we maintain the highest project standards, which should pave the way for our future growth.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In two years, I envision our new internal organizational structure being complete and in place, allowing us to maintain our high project standards. After that, I aim to focus on increasing turnover and employee numbers to contribute further to the wind energy industry’s growth. We are already optimizing our procedures and encouraging electric cars over hybrid ones, contributing towards the climate crisis.
Can you discuss your experience with Artemys during the recruitment process?
Initially contacted on LinkedIn, I was presented with two options. The manager explained the position in detail during a video call, which turned out to be different from the one I applied for, but I accepted it. Artemys mediated well during negotiations between me and MDWind and ensured that we matched each other’s needs and concerns.
I had many questions throughout the process, so we really communicated a lot through the weeks. It had been difficult to agree on the content with MDWind and to align on every detail. Loïc did a good mediation job.
After I started at MDWind, we stayed in touch and Loïc and I talked a lot in the coming months. I was also invited to the restaurant by Artemys to catch up.
How would you describe your experience with Artemys in terms of preparing you for the interview with MDWind?
Artemys provided me with all the necessary information for the head of the installation role. The preparation was smooth, and I felt confident for my first interview. However, after the interview, Artemys presented me with a new potential role at MDWind that did not have a proper job description. Despite the unexpected change, Artemys provided me with the necessary support and preparation, leading to a successful second interview.
Based on your experience, what is your overall opinion of Artemys? Would you recommend them to others?
Overall, I had a positive experience with Artemys. They went above and beyond in keeping in touch with me even after I signed my work contract to ensure that everything was going well and that I had the support I needed. I would recommend them to others.
Is there anything you feel Artemys could improve on?
While I had a good experience overall, I do think Artemys could improve by always providing clear job descriptions to candidates. In my case, since it was a brand-new role, the job description for the new role was not properly prepared, which could have caused confusion or misunderstandings. So, providing clear and detailed job descriptions to candidates would be beneficial for everyone involved.
