Could you tell us about your experience working for Schneider Electric and what you enjoy most about your job?
I work for Schneider Electric, which is an international company that is very user-friendly. My experience working there has been excellent. I love the company culture, which emphasizes teamwork and support. I work in the Secure Power service, where we focus on after-sales support, specifically dealing with cooling issues and maintenance contracts for clients. The company is very user-friendly and provides ample opportunities for personal and professional growth. Overall, I feel very fulfilled and motivated in my role at Schneider Electric.
That sounds like an interesting role. What do you find most rewarding about your work?
I find it rewarding to help our customers when they have an issue and see their satisfaction once the problem has been resolved. Additionally, I appreciate the opportunity to learn and grow within the company, and I’m excited about the possibility of advancing my career here.
What do you think sets Schneider Electric apart from other companies in your industry?
I think our team dynamic is unique and sets us apart. We have a great sense of camaraderie and support each other, which makes for a positive work environment. Additionally, Schneider Electric is known for its commitment to sustainability and innovative technology, which I find inspiring.
Do you feel that Schneider Electric’s mission and vision align with your personal values and aspirations?
Yes, they do align very well. Schneider Electric is committed to sustainability, and as someone who values the environment, I appreciate the company’s dedication to this cause. Last year, we even organised a sustainability day where we planted over 300 trees. Additionally, the company promotes a supportive and collaborative culture, which is very important to me. I want to be able to not only handle administrative work but also learn more in the field and work with clients.
How do you see your personal development in five years within the company?
I have two options to choose from – project management or outside sales. I think I would prefer the sales position because I enjoy having contact with clients and people and not just doing technical work.
Can you share with us your experience with Artemys?
When Artemys first reached out to me, I was initially too busy to speak with them, but we scheduled a call to discuss the available job opportunities after a few weeks. What stood out to me was their clear communication and constructive feedback throughout the recruitment process, which helped me to improve my confidence and become a better candidate. Even after I had signed my job contract and started working at Schneider Electric, Artemys continued to check in with me and see how I was doing. This level of care and follow-up is something that I appreciated and not something I have experienced with other recruitment companies.
Did Artemys follow up with you during and after the interview process?
Artemys followed up with me a few hours after my interview to see how it went. They provided feedback from my manager and turned any negative feedback into something constructive that motivated me to improve. Even after I started working, they reached out to me, and we went for dinner to discuss my concerns. They encouraged me to give Schneider Electric a chance for at least six months and offered to work with me to overcome any challenges. Knowing that my recruiter was supporting me was something that really convinced me to give my best at Schneider Electric.
Did Artemys prepare you well for the interview with Schneider Electric?
Yes, they did. A week before the interview, we had a meeting where they gave me a lot of insights on how to face the interview. This helped me feel more relaxed and confident during the interview. The feeling that someone was behind me and supporting me helped and motivated me.
What is your general opinion about Artemys?
There are many recruitment agencies out there, but what sets Artemys apart is their commitment to their candidates and clients. They take the time to understand their candidates’ needs and match them with the right job opportunities. I appreciate the fact that they follow up with their candidates even after they have been hired. It shows that they genuinely care about their candidates’ well-being and success.
Do you have any tips or suggestions for how Artemys could improve its recruitment process? Overall, I had a good experience with the team at Artemys. However, if I had to give some feedback, I would suggest that they stick with one recruiter throughout the process. For example, when I was first contacted by Artemys, I talked with one recruiter. However, during the process, I was followed up by Loïc, and it felt a bit weird to me as I had to repeat some things I had already said to the first recruiter.
